Ramor armour steel is extremely strong and tough. By using optimised alloy content in combination with patented direct quenching process, high hardness and toughness can be achieved.
Ramor offers excellent ballistic properties in combination with high hardness and strength. Ramor is developed for applications where blast protection or high ballistic resistance is required, such as armoured vehicles, doors, window frames and systems for transport of valuables. Shooting range equipment is another application for which the product has been developed in cooperation with customers
Miilux was established in 2000 as a part of Miilukangas Group, founded in 1967 in Raahe, Finland.
Miilux sells and manufactures wear resistant and personal protection steel solutions using its own brands and innovations.
Miilux sells products directly to over 30 countries around the globe and has production facility in three countries.
The strength and reliability of BISALLOY® ARMOUR steel has long been selected to support Australia’s defence forces and is an achievement which brings great pride to Bisalloy Steels.
Offering quality that is second to none, BISALLOY® ARMOUR steel has become the first choice in defence applications here and abroad and is specified for hulls in Armoured Personnel Carriers (APC), Light Armoured Vehicles (LAV) and the Bushmaster Infantry Mobility Vehicles in Australia, along with many APCs and LAVs worldwide.
In addition to such traditional support for manufacturers of armoured vehicles, Bisalloy Steels is also increasingly supplying BISALLOY® ARMOUR steel to police, military forces, government and civilian applications worldwide for use in security vehicles, training facilities, security booths, splinter boxes embassy ‘safe rooms’ and myriad other applications.
Armox protection plates have been used to protect people in the world’s most dangerous environments for more than 25 years. It has literally been tested in the field.
Our customers are suppliers of protection equipment for military and civil applications; equipment that can ultimately save human lives. Under such circumstances, there is no room for error. Our entire production process is designed to make sure our products are always well within your specifications, to ensure you are always on the safe side.
That’s why Armox protection plates can be delivered with guaranteed ballistic properties. Each grade and thickness is tested according to the most extensive and stringent international standards. In addition we cooperate with leading independent laboratories for ballistic testing in order to offer protection plates, certified to your required standards.
Hardox® wear plate, only produced by the (Nordic or Scandinavian) steel manufacturer SSAB, is the world’s leading wear-resistant steel. Hardox® offers you extended service life and high productivity in the most challenging environments, due to its through-thickness hardness, from the surface deep into its core. Rocks, sand, coal, minerals, scrap metal and other hostile materials find it hard to make a lasting impression on Hardox® wear plate. With its combination of high hardness, strength and toughness, Hardox® wear steel has proven itself as the abrasion-resistant material of choice for a longer service life of equipment, parts and structures in the most challenging environments.
Hardox® plate is designed to deliver outstanding performance as well as a long wear life. You can maximise both by choosing just the right wear plate for your specific requirements. Hardox® steel comes in an impressive range of types, grades, widths and thicknesses, with a thickness range spanning from 0.7 to 160 mm (0.028 to 6.30″). This — combined with new material grades and its ability to function as structural wear steel — allows for even greater creativity and design options.
With a wide range of armour grades from 440 to 600, Swebor ballistic steels are more bendable and weldable, without compromising on protection attributes. Offering an extreme combination of hardness, high strength and weld-ability the Swebor Armour™ products are some of the most advanced ballistic performance properties on the market.
Swebor Armour™ 600 and 550 are two of the world’s most bendable steels at this grade. All Swebor Armour™ products remains easy to handle in the workshop with good bending and welding properties regardless its high hardness. The Swebor Armour™ steels are commonly used in protection applications such as: civil armoured vehicles (SUVs, limousines, trucks), police cars, CIT-vehicles, security doors and walls, bank counters, shoot catches and much more.
